ZELFONTSPANNER

Zelfontspanner is an exploration of the intimacy of a friendship. The title translates into the double meaning of finding relaxation in oneself and the word self-timer, the way this picture is taken. During isolation there was space for self reflection but also the experience of getting more dependent on close friends. Designer duo LEWV took the experience of making a picture in self-timer modus, reflecting on being confident and relaxed, literally exposing one-selves to each other and the camera. They used the image for a shawl to remember a moment of togetherness.
