INTIMACY OF THE BODY
NATURAL(LY) WOMAN
Text by Jeannette Lili Weiss
A woman
intimately living with the rain
In a gentle way, she shakes the world
Like the wind does with leaves.
She lives along the sun’s light
yarns for the sky’s deep blue
Firmly rooted into Earth
She lives half under and above the ground.
Like a tree
She grows and expands
Her branches grow tall
Wildly dancing with nature
Knowing she must root to rise.
The cracking of a tree’s arm
Like the whisper in its greenery
She tells of freedom to explore
The depths and variations
Of her own femininity
Her own kind
Strong in vulnerability.
A woman’s womb
an ever home for life
Divinity on earth
One-of-a-kind
A seed
Born from intuition and emotion.
Lending and surrendering her body
Evolving and nurturing
She learns and shifts to become
Caring for a life.
She provides shade and a home
Fertile soil
Of Motherhood
She grew from seed to plantlet
Developed from cell to being
She shifts from being a woman to being another
Accepting changes in colour
On an everlasting journey
With flowers in spring and fruit in fall
With fruit in spring and flowers in fall.
The circular evolution Of becoming
A woman in synergy
One-of-a-kind.
WE BREATHE EACH OTHERS BREATH
